How Did It all Start?
Once upon a time, there was a tech-savvy young man named Mike. He was a computer science prodigy and started his career as a humble technician in 1997. Fast forward a few years, and Mike landed a gig as the IT Manager for a big ol’ car dealership group. He worked there for a solid 15 years, but something was missing.
Enter: a friend in need. This friend was running a company and they had a problem. They had hired another local IT company, but all they got was a block of hours to use “when they needed help with an issue.” No proactivity, no protection, no peace of mind.
Mike’s friend, let’s call her Mrs. Terrie, was understandably upset. “Mike, that’s why I hired them! They were supposed to keep me safe. I don’t know what we need; we don’t run an IT business.” So, Mike stepped in to help. He knew there had to be a better way to protect companies and provide them with the support they needed. And that’s how GCPC was born.
